Very convienient to my needs
Friendly staff who went out of their way to be helpful
Whilst I appreciate that a majority of clients arrive by car, your staff found it difficult to obtain a taxi for me on weekdays due to local school contracts. Would therefore suggest securing an agreement with a local taxi company.
We visited Durham had a nice walk around shop good not many resturants for eating
The receptionist was very friendly halpful and professional.
The Walk-In wifi is good for local travellers with local phone numbers but for tourists who are from out of country is not much use since a local number needs to be provided. Either provide Wifi 'truly' free or have the gimmick of a contact number be removed. Problem even from a spam perspective or id theft/misuse. Management should truly evaluate.
Upon arrival, the member of staff that was on duty at that time, was very helpful. The location was ideal for us to get to Newcastle upon tyne, for the Great North Run. Lots of parking spaces
The voucher that were being sold by Days Inn, for the restaurant " £10.00 worth of food for £7.50"......They should stop selling these vouchers, they are be no means great value! In fact eating at any Motorway services are not good value.
Staff very friendly and helpfull with any thing we asked about.
Pillows to soft Sound proofing between rooms very poor. The building seemed a little out of date, but still acceptable
Pt is looking a little careworn
Basic book clean and quiet room.
Cheap and available. Free wifi though had to register for marketing to get it... dont know how much I will regret that yet!
Worn out looking room, bedside table surface was literally peeling off. The previous two nights we were at the Bannatyne nearby at the same price - Bannatyne much better value
Value for money, clean and basic which is all we wanted. A little noise from the motorway but not enough to disturb us. Receptionist, young lad, was excellent. Booked our taxi and suggested where to eat in town etc.
Nowhere to eat in the hotel. The service station next door was typical motorway prices. It was a little further from the town centre in a taxi than the website says it is. £11 to get to Durham and £13 return after 11pm.
Quality Rooms free Wifi. Receiption staff all friendly with special attention to Mr. Craig. He is very friendly and even helped me to deactive my sim card with O2 when I forgot my phone in taxi and even advised on how to use icloud to find it#! Also allowed me to use their Laundry facilities for free. Its great quality hotel and is next to 24 hrs service area where food etc is available
Very helpful staff, although outside city very easy to get in only one junction from Durham and there was a park and ride close by, easy to find way back to hotel, would stay again
just a nice place to stay very quiet, did have problems getting mobile signal and you are stuck for choice for food, but the service station is open 24 hours so as long as you do not mind paying their prices you will be ok
Clean & tidy within easy reach of Durham & other areas of interest
Efficient & courteous staff Location good for A1 Useful facilities at services Room was clean
A shower is pointless when it is level with your nose Childrens bed not very comfortable Room very warm - no airconditioning Pillows were terrible
